How do I pay rent?

shutterstock_103284287We would like the the process of paying rent to be as easy as possible.

We offer a number of options for the payment of rent which are as follows:

  • By Bpay via phone or internet.
  • Over the counter at any branch of Bank West utilising the card given to you at the commencement of the tenancy.
  • By periodic payment from your own bank account. You can arrange for this to be paid directly into our trust account.
  • Centrepay, you will need to speak with Centrelink to set this up with them.
  • Cheques/money orders. These can be mailed to our post office box at P.O. Box 2250 Bunbury 6231, as there is no physical mail delivery to our office.

Very Important

Please ensure that you use the banking ID number on each transaction, this identifies which tenant the rent belongs to. If the incorrect code is used there may be a delay in the receipt of your rent, or even worse it could be lost. If a bank trace is utilised to trace the incorrectly coded transaction the cost of the trace will be invoiced to the tenant.

Rent Arrears

Rent is to be paid IN ADVANCE at all times. Tenants not making their rent payments by the due date will be issued with a breach notice. If breach notices are not rectified, possible termination of the agreement may occur. All breach and/or termination notices are disclosed for any future references to prospective landlords, etc and therefore should be kept to a minimum. We understand that things happen in life that might make it difficult to pay your rent i.e Death in the Family, Loss of Job etc. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can be aware of your circumstances. The last thing we want to see is our tenants without a place to live. We may be able to offer advice on what to do.
